Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you use the Five Pillars of Identity assessment, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The service is operated by Yannis Goldman Delaruelle (“we,” “us”). For any privacy question or request, contact us at yannisgoldman@gmail.com.

Data we collect

We collect only what the features you use require:

  • Assessment data — your answers and the computed result (archetype, pillar scores, result summary).
  • Contact details — your first name and email, if you choose to save or receive your result. Providing these is optional; you can complete the assessment without them.
  • Account data — if you sign in, your email and authentication session so you can return to your saved results.
  • Issue reports — anything you submit through the report-an-issue form.
  • Payment status — if a paid feature is ever used, we store whether a result was unlocked (payments themselves are handled by Stripe; we do not store card details).
  • Limited technical data — standard server and security logs from our hosting provider.

We also store your language choice and assessment progress in your browser’s local storage so you can resume where you left off.

How we use it

To calculate and show your result, save your history when you have an account, generate your shareable report, respond to support and issue reports, and improve the assessment. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Legal basis (for EU/EEA users)

We process your data on the basis of your consent (which you can withdraw at any time) and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the assessment.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of trusted processors: Supabase (database, authentication, and storage of your results), Vercel (application hosting), Resend (delivery of login and notification emails), and Stripe (payment processing, only if you use a paid feature). Each processes data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

Retention

We keep your assessment results and account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete your data at any time and we will remove it, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, ask for a copy of it, or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email yannisgoldman@gmail.com.

Cookies & local storage

We use essential storage only: your language preference and saved assessment progress in local storage, and a secure session cookie when you are signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children

This assessment is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy as the service evolves; the date above reflects the latest version. Questions or requests? Email yannisgoldman@gmail.com. See also our Terms of Use.
